Verification standards

Every member is verified

Before anyone appears in discovery, they complete a three-step verification. Sensitive documents stay private — only verification badges are shown on profiles.

Identity verification

Every member confirms their identity with a government-issued ID through a compliant provider before becoming discoverable.

Credential verification

We validate professional healthcare licenses so the people you meet are genuinely part of the medical community.

Background check

A consented background screening is completed for each member, with date and status shown on their profile. A completed check is not a guarantee of safety.

Privacy standards

You're in control

Your privacy is protected by default. Share only what you're comfortable with, and connect only after a mutual match.

Hide your workplace
Your workplace is hidden by default and stays private unless you choose to share it.
Control your location
Show only your state, or hide your exact location entirely — you decide what members see.
Hide your specialty
Toggle specialty visibility at any time from your privacy settings.
Match-based messaging
No one can message you until you've both liked each other — no unsolicited contact.
Sensitive documents stay private
Verification documents are never shown publicly. Only your earned badges appear on your profile.
Block & report anyone
Block a member at any time, or report a profile directly from their page for our team to review.

Safer dating

Stay safe while you connect

  • Meet in a public place for first dates and tell a friend where you're going.
  • Never send money or share financial information with anyone on the platform.
  • Keep conversations on ClinConnect until you feel comfortable — be cautious of off-platform requests.
  • Trust your instincts. If something feels off, block and report the member immediately.
